Anyone visited the CERN/LHC?

G'day all,

We're looking at taking a trip to UK & Europe at the end of the year, including France & Switzerland. Seems like an opportunity to visit the LHC.

I'm wondering if anyone else has, to say how worthwhile the visit is?

dr fred watson took a tour there earlier this year. i would've loved to have gone but the $10k ticket price was out of my budget unfortunately!
