I've been playing around with my last M27 tonight. This is a crop. For a bit of fun I added some diffraction spikes.:P (I miss my newt)

Nice M27 JJJ. Not sure about the spikes, they tend to detract and shift focus from the Nebula.

I agree with Hagar - something along the lines of "Little Red Riding Hood".
Otherwise the nebula is good.

Well, the spikes might look good for a Christmas card :P

Very nice image Jeanette. A bit of a change from the
widefield setup. Its good for a bit of variety.

I great image there JJJ - nicely done . Not too sure about the spikes ... I think I'd like them better if they were at an angle.
Cheers, Marcus

Great details in the neb but the spikes are a bit overwhelming IMO. That reminds me of a shot I did of the pleiades (http://www.multiweb.com.au/astro/M45_f.jpg) on a newt. I used 10min subs to try to get as much neb as I could and not have to shoot many of them. It backfired on me. The shot looked like a Xmas tree. :)
