Venus is getting easier to image as it grows in size and climbs away from the sun. The phase is supposed to be about 85%, but this image shows about 80%. Maybe due to Schroeter's anomaly? or perhaps the processing was a bit too vigorous. Thanks for looking.

Good job with Venus, what sort of equipment did you use to capture the image.

Equipment is a GSO 8" f4 with stacked 2x and 3x TV Barlows, a filter wheel (red filter) and a DMK21. About 2000 images were processed in Registax followed by VC deconvolution in IRIS and a tidy up in GIMP2.
Scope does not have a very big aperture, but is OK on such a bright object.
