Beautiful clear skies this morning so I captured these before the clouds rolled in and I got into doing other jobs.:)
All captured with the SM40, ED80, B1200, DMK 41AU02.AS and the high resolution ones have a 2.5x Powermate in the train.

I was hoping to see some images from today.
So much activity. I showed my 2 boys and they loved the photos too.

Thanks guys.
I'm happy with No 1. The high resolution images are just a tad soft. Not sure if it's seeing, or focus or just the smaller aperture of the SM40 (at f/18.75). Focus was definitely the best I could do in the circumstances.

Nice going Al. I tried but cloud and circumstances foiled my attempt. Here's for a bit more activity so we can keep the dust off the ol' Ha scopes for a bit longer

Excellent work Al. #1 is fantastic!
All the images are lovely Al but that first one's a cracker !!
I love the flare at the 3 o'clock position, giving the image a real 3D look !
Beautiful granulation too mate.

Great images Al, like everyone else I liked #1.
Not much Sun, or time, or energy to get out and image the big yellow thing... even if it is in visible light. Thanks for sharing and congrats for IOTW.
