Here's my latest attempt with the QHY8Pro.

M 20, I took 17 x 10 minute exposure at -15, lost 2 because of a dew strap tangle and IP stacked 13. I actually started imaging when the moon was still up, only cause I've had the pier in a week and haven't had the weather to really do anything.

Post processing in PS3, Not sure of the colour balance, but I should produce better images with a newly calibrated monitor thanks to a spyder 3.

The uncropped version, well a little crop to get rid of the overscan line at the bottom image and a cropped image so you can actually see the detail. Still awaiting the Flattener, which should be here for the next imaging run!

Comments / Tips / Suggestions greatly appreciated.

Nice images Darren but I can't help but think you haven't got the best out of your subs yet. With 15 X 10 I would have expected a bit more depth in the reflection nebula and the red part seems to be down a bit on detail. It may well be the way you have stretched it so worth another go while wide awake.

Yes Doug, after a sleep, all things look different.

Still I haven't found this image too easy to process, been quite a lot of expletives and starting over.

Comments / tips appreciated.

The image has come up well Darren. Perhaps a little les sharpening or at least more selective to avoid the dark rings on your stars. Not bad at all.
Love your star colours.

Well done.

Star colours are nice and there is plenty of detail there.

Nice one Darren. Nice colors, detail and smooth black background though slightly oversharpened as Doug said only by the dark rings around the stars, but still a very nice image mate.
Well done.

Cheers Daniel.
