2 1gb CF cards showed up today...$90 USD. Canon EOS 350D combo will be here Thursday....$900 USD after rebates. Meade Magellan 1 DSC for my DOB....purchased today from fleaBay for $169 USD with free shipping....wooohooo. My wifey is gonna hate you folks if you don't come up with some REAL good ideas on what I should get her for X-Mas

She can't blame us Tom. We are only offering valuable advice to a beloved member of our community.
There is no way she can blame us seeing as we live thousands of Km away (kmX5/8 miles :lol: ) so it couldn't have been us twisting your arm. Who's your nearest astronomy mate. Blame him/her so your wife has someone to take her fury out on. In fact that is probably the best xmas pressie you could give her. Someone to take her anger out on. You can then say you were thinking of her health as keeping all that anger in (you know she's not going to take it out on you) is not good for her.
See we've got lot of good advice here. :D

Thanks for the encouragement. Now that I think of it...she was quite stunned at the view of the moon the first time she looked thru the scope. Maybe a Nagler or Pentax EP is in order.
P.S...Forget about the "astronomy related" remark in my previous post...:)
