Quite a nice job Gerard, nicley framed, can see a bit of detail in the lane too, good work from your less than optimal latitude.
Oh and M104 is actually in the Southern Hemisphere around -12deg Dec so it passes only about 20deg North of the zenith from mid Australian latitudes.

Maybe it is in the translation, but the Sombrero is a Southern Hemisphere galaxy RA12:40.0 Dec-11:37.:thumbsup:

Most Southern Galaxies are claimed as Northern Galaxies. Just have a look at the book Galaxies and how to observe them by Wolfgang Steinicke and
Richard Jakiel. Most of the Northern Galaxies are actually Southern Galaxies.
Give them back I say and end this Northern-centric obsession :tasdevil:
