This is the first part of a narrowband image (weather permitting) which I’m attempting over the next 3 weeks. It’s still a bit early in the month to start this at 11.30pm as the target is low in the sky right over central London from here at the moment, however this is the start, 3 hours of 15min subs:

Terrific shot considering the conditions and how low it was. I was checking the rig specs and the total integration time. The image is still a tad noisy. You must have some serious light pollution where you're imaging from. Top shot though.

Central London...it's a wonder you can see or image anything from there!!.
Great shot for the location:)

Looking great, Malcolm. We don't get to see this part of the sky except through the hazy part of the atmosphere! How do you cope withthe light pollution?
Richard
Solid image Malcolm. 6888 reminds me of a brain for some reason with all its tight knots of Ha nebulosity. Very pleasing vista. Well done.
