Not bad at all:) Good shot....looks in focus to me. Colours look good too:)

Only problem you have is some coma on the edges and the tracking might be bit out.

Real nice shot Tom. Colors are spot on and focus/guiding very good too. As Carl mentioned earlier you should correct your field whith some kind of field flattener and you'll be cooking 100%. Very well done.

renormalised: Thanks :) indeed the edges are quite messy and i think i might have accidently slightly bumped the camera bulb cable woops (yep, still doing manual timed exposures here on the ol' 30D lol).

TrevorW: Thanks a lot :)

MrB: Thank you :)

multiweb: Cheers :) and thank you for the advice on a flattener

I've been looking into flatteners.. I'm still really confused what will actually work on my 110mm refractor. I guess there's only one way to find out. I've read about the WO ones, seems like just the ticket i think..

again a big thanks for looking and advice.. the list of equipment needed never stops!! I guess that's half the allure of this hobby :)

looks good :) and most importantly enjoyed taking the photo  Main thing to improve on is the coma/distorted stars around the edge, as other have said, and you could just crop it more to hide them :) If you get a WO flatenner do a lot of research - my WO FFv3 doesn't work perfectly with my Megrez 90 APO :(

Good image. The lagoon has a nice semi transparent look to it and colours are good.

Sharp, bright, and dark at the same time. Top work
