I finally got my mount back from repairs (thanks Rob) and seems to be working ok.
So on the first clear night in ages i went mad shooting anything in my sights instead of focusing on one object.
This was my first good experience with autoguiding for semi long exps and stacking with DSS.
I haven't learned PS yet and there is a bucket of stuff to learn in general but for now i'm happy with the first results.

Hi Michael

looks like the HEQ5pro is working fine - what sort of exposure times were you able to use?

LOL I know the feeling. There's just so much "stuff" up there begging to be imaged. How do you choose just one?
Welcome back into the fray.

Great to get those images and I fully understand the temptation to sample the lot. They are your images and you should be pleased with them.
Well done.

Thanks everyone, you are all so supportive.
sorry i neglected to put in the details.
and they're not with me but i do recall most were 400 iso, 10 frames, 5 @3mins & 5fr @6 mins. Carina had 20 frames 10@ 800iso 4min & 10@400iso 6min
Thanks again and i am pleased with them.

PS
The Heq is still a bit stiff for just RA tracking still but the autoguider pushes through it.
