Yeehaa! I took Jase and Robins advice and played with the imaging train, and....BINGO:D( thanks veryvery much guys for you sage advice). This is a single 5 min shot with autodark subtract, with an Astronomic 12nm Ha filter from my driveway at home. Cloud spoiled the party, so had to settle for the test shot only to play with, but I'm over the moon that I had some success. Now to get my head around Maxim cal and processing:question:. Oh the fun to come!! Please, any advice is welcome and appreciated:thumbsup:

Lots in there for a single sub Darrell, good to see you got it going. Try turning auto dark subtract off and catch more data instead. Lots of people don't use darks with that camera and I only used a few, mainly as a bad pixel map. Upwards and onwards from here mate.

Great start Darrell, not bad for a single 5 min test exposure! Not sure what advice to give yet - the core is a little over-cooked, but then I'm not sure what image processing you have done for a single test exposure. May the clouds clear for you so that you can get some more data to play with!
