One of the most beautiful galaxies around. It is also quite small despite being rather bright.
I took this over several nights.
TEC180 at F11.2, FLI ML8300, Tak NJP mount, 50mm square Baader LRGB filters.
LRGB 80 80 70 70
From my front yard.

Is one of those galaxies that never fails to appeal does it ... I think its to do with the starfield as well with this field of view which , in my experience is the most common ... most dont have the focal length to get a full frame view. As is your custom Greg, this is of course another very worthwhile image, the main target looks great and I really like the big blue and orange stars as well ... I think a fantastic composition too.

Really like your image Greg. Well composed with nice detail. This, M83 and 5128 are always worth photographing
