Hello all...
Finished off the scabby chicken project.

135mins of Ha blended with 90mins RGB.

"Scratchy" look to the stars - gotta try Bert's methods soon.

Anyhoo, all comments from the good through to the ugly via the bad welcome:P

Nice image Doug. Looks to be a little soft overall.

One for the poolroom Doug. Love it! Highres is superb. I'm still to do a colour on this one and that's giving me some incentive.

Probably focus issues in some of the Ha subs:shrug: Wasn't too happy wiith this one.

Thanks Marc - your colour one will probably look a lot smoother than mine if your recent stuff is any indication:thumbsup:

nice image - even though i had sharp focus the version i did also was not sharp - i think the seeing was an issue for me.

Thankyou Gents.
I think I'll put the chook out to pasture now - had my fill!
Funny, it's always the beasties that give me the problems - I spent hours a wee while ago grappling with a Lobster that would not obey my commands:)

Nice wide field of view Doug.

Very nice image Doug. Perhaps a bit of selective sharpening on the ridge areas of the neb may improve it. You could also do some deconvolution on the Ha master and the RGB master to improve the stars but they look fine to me.

Greg.

Reprocessed - not as soft as original

Definitely looks quite a bit sharper Doug.

Well done, Not that I can really comment on focus. The FSQ changes with a 1 degree shift in temprature. It does make it hard when imaging for a few hours after a warm day. I either produce an oversharpened or overly soft image.
