Hi folks,
I tried this just last night and out of an ordinary bunch I got this. I used a 20mm Saxon lens and the neighbours Kodak camera...
Gotta admit I was pretty happy about it concidering LOL

that's a great effort for hand held!!
Ron, I found with my Canon powershot A85 on moon shot I have the same effect
going on, with the blue haze around the limb. When I brought the image into PS
and seperately looked at the colour channels they were each of a different size.
Red being the smallest, then green and then Blue being the larger. Took awhile
to adjust this but it did marginally improve the image. I wonder if the DSLR have
the same problem.

I have you to thank Dave :) I followed your instructions to T and very nervously began my collmination adjustments... I broke a sweat and afterwards had a good shot of Bourbon LOL
End result was a noticable differance in my viewing quality!
Thanx all the encouragment is appreciated!

hey, it took me months to start collimating, now it is easy and just part of the viewing process. You get that extra detail for a couple of seconds of extra work
well worth it.
well done!!
