Ok you might be thinking I'm crazy for putting this up for sale so soon (owned for nearly 3 months), however I am not expecting to sell it anytime soon due to it's price as I know expensive scopes on IIS take some time to sell. The funds I gather for this would be put towards my SDM#046 getting built (eta Aug/Sep). If it sells before that time i'll have to purchase another GSO to get me through until then :P
You can read my full review of the scope here:

and some further comments by me here:

This cost me nearly 3k to import from the states. I'm asking for $2200 for now.
Feel free to PM me any questions you may have :) Cheers.

I saw this scope today when I was over mbaddah's place. Very nice indeed. Super smooth action and in pristine condition. These scopes are very light weight and perfect for moving in and out of the house / garage for observing with zero setup time. The primary is in mint condition and already centre spotted. For anyone in the market for a supremely portable 8" this is well worth a look.

Moh brought this scope along to our MAS viewing session last night (I gather for a "last fling") and it was fantastic. Certainly one of the better reflectors that I've had the pleasure of. With the 13mm Nagler he had on at the time, clarity and contrast on a couple of quick objects was stupendous. One thing that I really like about this unit is that it not only moves in alt and azimuth, but is able to be easily rotated in its mount around its vertical axis - meaning that eyepiece positioning is infinitely adjustable in reference to where you're standing. Very nice unit indeed.

Thanks guys for the positive comments  I'm quite happy with the portaball's contrast and jet black background, definitely noticeable when compared to a gso dob. Everyone seemed quite intrigued last night Chris with the spherical base

Due sometime in September, so only ~2 months away. The wait is killing me :(

May consider trade for a 120-130mm ed refractor.
Preferably Takahashi or AP :P

Price drop to $2000.
For some reason I can't edit the first post to update the price? Can't see the "Edit" button?
