Apocolypse Now
Kilgore- Smell that? You smell that?
Lance- What?
Kilgore- Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.
Kilgore- I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like......
Victory.

Hi,
I think the street gunfight in "Heat" was a classic, although possibly excessive.
I most certainly never want to be present at anything like that :eyepop:(there was a real one in North Hollywood).
The final scene and credits I thought had impact too, due to Moby's "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters".
I just like Al Pacino's roles.
Cheers

Yeah Bart, BladeRunner is a classic.
"too bad she won't live...but then again who does."
Mad Max - "I am the Nightrider! Do you hear me Toecutter, do you hear me man."
Mad Max 2 - "He's my snake, I trained him, I'm gonna eat him."
This could become a very long thread.

I didnt remember, infact I dont think Ive seen it until now, but thats a bit of good ole fashion comedy there. I remember Danny Kaye ?? of course but not this. Many might think that by todays standards this piece is a bit naff, maybe but thats how they did is back then and it was funny.
To the thread. There are way too many favourite scenes, in fact theres one every movie isnt there ??? Its a great thread.
Molly that was hysterical!! I hadn't seen that movie since I was really young. Back then, they were so camp, like the Carry On movies. But they were brilliant!
I'm going to throw in another of my favourites, the classic "The Ghost and Mrs Mrs". This has the most romantic movie ending ever!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Cc85Mh7sXQ&feature=related
And what about "You Got Mail" when they meet for the first time at the park and she has tears in her eyes when she says "I was hoping it would be you".:sad: Just thinking about it again is making me teary. I cry everytime I see that part. Okay, chick flick I know.
