I am about to pickup an EM-200 ESD II Mount for a rather cheap price but I noted that Takahashi no longer has a Temma conversion kit available for the USD mounts...soooo..I am looking towards the Argo Navis kit to semi computerise the mount.
Good idea? Bad idea? Thoughts anyone
Hi Hans,
Thanks for the post and for considering an Argo Navis for your Takahashi.
We do have an encoder kit available for the EM-200.
(I think you probably meant to type model USD II rather than ESD II.)
Please see http://www.wildcard-innovations.com.au/kits/pn-t200-spec_describe.html
Please see here for a scanned image of the installation drawing -

Argo Navis has a built in feature called TPAS - Telescope Pointing Analysis System -
that can be used to analyze and improve the mount's pointing performance and
even report on and assist with its polar alignment.
If you email me at sales@wildcard-innovations.com.au or phone us here
