Done NGC3576 HA with LRGB and it is a pain in the you know what to combine HA with LRGB.
I think it looks fairly presentable.
Done with the QHY9 and ED80.
Guiding: finder scope with QHY5 ST4
Mount EQ6
HA: 10X5 Min L: 10X5 Min RGB 25X90 Sec each.

Not bad at all. Very close up field with the ED80. I didn't realise that the FOV would be so tight. Is this because of the QHY9 pixel size?

Thank you Marc, the picture is cropped to about 75% to fit everything together.
It was taken over two night's.

I like it a lot Martin, high res shows lots of nice detail.

What is the main problem combining the HA?

The biggest problem with combining Ha and LRGB is that HA is so tight with nice small stars and the LRGB picture has larger stars.
I had to make the stars in the colour picture a lot smaller to fit with the HA stars and you can see it in some of the stars in the nebula.
Also it is pretty hard to keep nice star colours.

Very nice Martin, The ha RGB blend can be a real pain but the end result on a target such as this is often worth it.

Yes, nice detail - you brought out the nebulosity well!
I know what you mean about the stars / Ha - a real pain trying to tighten the stars to match Ha, and then dealing with the halos, etc. Harder still with the variation of the star background across the field due to the nebulosity ... I had my first go at all this and didn't get the stars right (see my post at http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=60658).
Next time I might try removing the Ha stars and maybe not shrinking the stars much / at all - perhaps it will provide a more natural look.
