Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone here is using Nebulosity to control/capture with a QHY8 pro? If so can you let me know if Nebulosity is able to control the TEC cooler setpoint?
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter, I am using Nebulosity2 with my QHY8Pro and don't have any problems controlling the TEC. Two methods can be used.
1. Set the setpoint in the preferences window.
2. Set the setpoint in the QHY9 control box under the view menu.
You must turn the TEC on in the Ascom driver setup first.
I am currently using the 64/32 bit system drivers and the Ascom drivers from www.Astrosoft.be (http://www.Astrosoft.be)
The temprature control is a very nice step up from the standard QHY8.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the response Doug - do you use ascom to drive the qhy8 pro? I don't think I'm using ascom with Allan's QHY8 - I just select QHY8 from Nebulosity's camera selection drop down list.
I see the TEC setpoint now in the preferences window - does the QHY9 camera control dialogue also work with the QHY8 pro?
Peter
