When they say semi-APO I bet they are being very tough on it.
Its hard to imagine a really well made triplet exhibiting colour.

The light scatter from the two aluminised surfaces of the folding mirrors will make its' performance similar to a sub 20% obstructed well baffled Newtonian at about 1/10 the cost .

Hoo yeah, Mark... I still recall the views of Mars through the old Oddie (9" f/16) at 600X and the Reynolds (30" Cass) on a couple of nights of good seeing from Stromlo...
Someone I know had the good fortune to ride in the cage of the AAO on a rather poor night (not much more than sucker holes) when they pointed it at Jupiter... the detail visually just about blew his socks off, almost literally.
