Seymour VIC - anyone?

Hi all,
Yesterday I was in Seymour - bbq in the park, walk, it was a beautiful day :thumbsup:

I was wandering what is the situation re LP there.. and how is it with real estate: yes, I am planning for retirement and this little town is very high on my list as a potential residence (and permanent observatory, of course).
If anyone knows this area, please let me know what you think?

It would be a great place for an observatory, you can see more from there than anywhere else!! :P

(1) Light glow to 20 deg in the south from Melbourne lights :(
(2) Light glow to 10 deg in the north from Shepparton lights
(stuffs up the Andromeda) :shrug:
(3) Light glow to 10 deg in the north west from Bendigo lights
(4) Dark sky due East! & Zennith :thumbsup:

What I saw and after reading your comments, I will give it a try when opportunity arises :)

But what really is important, is this: my ministry of foreign affairs likes the idea and the area ;)
