Hi All,

Imaged Jupiter this morning in fair seeing 5/10. It was a beautiful morning, not a cloud in the sky nor breath of wind, well, that would be at ground level. The jetstream effected the entire session but not to the extent that the GFS jetstream chart had indicated.

I have Io in transit, Europa+its shadow transit. Some nice detail, considering the jetstream, with a prominent red spot in the NTrZ.

Have attached 4 RGB's that were captured at 15min intervals along with an animation of those images.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks for the view Trevor, you are out of the blocks at a fast pace; not that you ever slowed down.

All the best.

That's a great set of images Trevor, and the animations really bring it to life.

Thanks Malcolm glad you liked it.

Thanks Lester, I have had a few interruptions to my imaging of late, not long ago I had to go down to Adelaide for a week and very shortly I have to go away for a couple of weeks so I am taking every opportunity to image while I can.

Thanks John, my time with Swinburne was incredibly stimulating and rewarding. I think you get out of it what you are willing to put in and each of us have different priorities and perspectives.

Due to my studies with Swinburne some pretty amazing things have happened to me. If you are interested read the Blog on my website.

Swinburne are the only Australian University with a time allocation at the W.M.Keck Observatory, the largest optical telescopes on the planet.

Through my time at Swinburne I was invited to accompany a professional research team to observe with the Keck's, an experience I will treasure for the rest of my life, I had to pay my way but it was truly unforgettable.

Thanks very much Frank.

Thanks Michaell, I think animations add to the feel for the dynamics of the particular system and really enjoy putting then together.
