Moon shots through afocal technique and spot metering

Hey everyone, I was just playing around with my new 10 inch DOB and my Kodak camera and thought of using Spot Metering with the moon shots and took the attached images. The idea was to make all but one area look blurred and in this case i was focusing on "Montes Apennninus" .I liked the outcome and thought i would share the images :)
PS: Both images are not processed, will be poking around with that later on as i am still building up my processing knowledge :)

Focus is nice and sharp on the Mountains there Paul.

I like these images you have posted.
I have only ever done Afocal ijmages myself as I dont have the equipment for anything else. I get a lot of enjoyment from this method.
