I see them in Mildura last week there going south.

I rode my ducati from Geralton to Perth during a locust plague (~400km). My bright red bike was kind of a gooey yellow as were my boots, jeans, jacket and helmet. Took about a week to get it all off.....sticky buggers.

I've seen a few at work (S.E burbs Melbourne). They were here about a week ago, but havent seen one since then.
They had red legs.
Blooming heck,:eyepop: that's my worst nightmare. I have to spot only one and I will be screaming and running. Not nice when the cat brings the odd one inside the house.

:lol: lol Ron, nah you guys get flooded out there ;) Yeah too far for Harry :lol:
No locusts up my way Jen.
This time of year we get the Devil moths as I call them. these moths are about a hand span across with their wings open and their eyes glow a brilliant irridescent red when the light catches them.
Very evil looking.
Okay, that there is my second worst nightmare! Once the hubby was away and i was all alone and the whole ceiling in the laundry was lined with them and a few of them were taking joy rides thru my house. I spent the whole time armed with a broom- screaming and running, and swiping, screaming and running and hysterical. I will never forget it... scarred me for life. What a woos. Perhaps i shouldn't be letting the whole world know this, hmmm .. too late.
Get some cats Suzy, they think moths are great sport to try and catch, mind you the house can get a bit trashed in the process.
Mind you the chomping process when they do get one is a bit gruesome.
Cheers
I'm wondering if that could possibly be worse than de-cappitated gekkos everywhere.. I have two cats these days :eek:Don't know why, but they just done like eating their heads!:screwy:
:eyepop::eyepop: yuck Ric my cat does love to eat them too
LOL Suzy
It's the next step that worries me Jen, after they had too many. :eyepop:
Nooooo! Kitty, not the new carpet.
We usually have a few old towels ready to place in front of them.
:mad2: They are still hangning around got home frome work today and my back verandah was covered with them
They have neally cleaned up all our grass (at least we dont have to mow the lawns this weekend) check out the pic you can see what they have eaten so far :confused2:

Better get some fly spray Jen or you could always take to them with the lawn mower or whipper snipper :P.

 I feel for you Jen. I don't know how I'd cope in your situation.
OMG Jen!! About time they moved on, it seems awhile since the converged down your way.
Gosh Jen, that's not good. At least you're not scared of them (unlike me). Thanks for the pic.
