Thought I had better put some more stuff up. I think I have slightly overprocessed the moon and Mars aint the greatest either, seeing was only about 4-5/10. The area that I imaged on the moon I am not sure of its name/location either.
great shots :)
although you say the moon is over processed it is showing an imense amount of detail! i like it :)

Great shots mate! With the Takahashi? I got a rock-solid 9/10 here this morning. (3am onwards) Before that time yeah, it was 4/10 at the most.
Well done & great shots once again.

I was well and truly in the "scratcher" at that time. Also there was passing middle level cloud as well, which cut short my efforts. Thanks for the comments though.

great stuff - that Mars really shows off what excellent quality optics of modest aperture can do :)

crap!!!
for me, your colour on mars is about as good as i have seen. Some guys like it lighter in colour, but something about yours and one rocket "docket in ya pocket" boy posted a month or so ago had great colour.
First glance as i opened your post, and i thought, "wow, great colour on mars!!!"
I was having a good gander at that same area on the moon pic 4 last night, it is so full of detail.
Not pissing in your pocket on mars, I really like it!!!

Thanks people, finally getting the hang of it, sort of..The camera is the Toucam and the Tak, nothing special, well I suppose the tak is, but I am still way way behind anything the Bird produces. Must admit having the electric focuser on the tak has made focusing sooooo much easier. Must admit I am looking forward to the arrival of the gas giants.

bird has the image scale and detail, but i like your colour of the tak and sct's
Mars is red to look at with naked eye, orange ball thru my scope and then gets yellow after processing.
We need a 16" tak, birds camera and a paramount and we are there!!!!

A 16" Tak, now that is food for thought. Would need a big crane to mount it, and one to carry the money required to purchase same.

Nice shots Peter, don't be too hard on yourself.
The craters in the closer image are Aristoteles and Eudoxus.
