... and I'm socked in with no less than 4 assignments due next week...one of them involves summarising a 22 page document :( So instead of observing, it'll be the books tonight :rolleyes: Already ticked off 3 last week....oh how I love it when all the assignments for every subject are handed out at the same time!


Better get my priorities right and start dusting off the scope :lol:

All night at Snake Valley last night. No clouds, seeing good, but air very moist and local burnoff added smoke so transparency poorish. Collapsed asleep around 3am - the smell of smoke woke me up in the early hours - so it was a bit thick. They decided to burn off rows of residual material after a pine forest was harvested last year.

I've been smelling smoke here aswell, but thought it was from peoples fireplaces. I knew transparency looked rubbish last night. I guess the DSE just had to leech on this warm clear weather in order to perform their criminal acts. Can't imagine why they don't pursue their campaign of evil during the cold cloudy days we get so much off. Hopefully these malignant parasites leave us alone come winter...I don't want the 1-2 clear nights of the entire winter ruined by this species....before their spring campaign of horror is unleashed upon us mere mortal observers once again :mad2:
