Don't forget to look at this rare occultation tomorrow after sunset low in the west.3 days old moon occults the 7 sisters cluster. Visiable from eastern Australia.

Yes,it was most beautiful to see,I used Vixen 15 by 80 binos on tripod.
and also managed to snag a few pics with my 450D on ED 81 Vixen refractor.
Here's a couple of pics.hope you like
PS the last is a pic my son and I took,as a tribute to our 20 yr old hilux,with the southern cross behind
and a bit of strobing with red lite torch,just a bit of fun!as we packed up gear
