Taken from Wiruna on Tuesday with f/7 110 mm refractor, 4 x 5 min each RGB, 8 x 5min L for a total of 100min. Camera is QSI 540. More data would be nice and I was going to collect some more yesterday, but sky murked over with thin cloud about 1am. Had some trouble finding a guide star with the OAG, so had to crop to centre target. Field is about 25' x 25'

Fabulous detail. Really well imaged and processed.

This begs the question... are there any galaxies or nebula that you can see colour in with the naked eye alone?

Very nice image. Your polar alignment was a bit off though and you have a bit of rotation plus a bit of sag there at the bottom right. Minor though and does not detract from a wonderful image.

Good points Greg. The sag (or perhaps focuser not square-on) is something that has been bugging me for a while. The other problem is that I had trouble finding a guide star (with Orion SSAG in off-axis guider mode) so the original image is way off centre frame and had to be cropped, so we are looking at the off=axis region here.
