Hi all
this is one of the regions I believe just look great in monochrome.
I could have cropped this a little bit, but again, I wanted to show the full extent of the STX/FSQ combination.

This is 7.5 hours with the STX and the Baader filter.

Gorgeous Martin,
the Fox Fur area, well it just looks so smooth.
Very well processed, plenty of subtle tones to the overall image and love the whole full crop.

Thanks for sharing!

Amazing shot Martin and lovely composition. The B&W allows your eye to concentrate on the 'texture'.

Martin,

Simply incredible.

I've been scanning the full preview image and there's several Bok globules or the like spread throughout the image that I never knew existed.

Wonderful work, as always.

:eyepop: That is sooo nice Martin! I find this area very difficult to image. You really have to go hard on both focus and integration time to get anything out of it. Splendid work. :prey2:

The extra QE of the 16803 in H-alpha certainly opens up the narrow band spectrum.
Very tidy result indeed Martin, delightfully smooth.
