Been a while, new 8" F4 newt that I am fighting with, but this one came out OK.
Taken from a light polluted inner Sydney.
20x 90sec on a rising moon. Canon 1000d @100ISO with MPCC, temp 21deg C. This is a 2/3rd crop of the full frame, so around 1deg FOV.

And this is before "We" rebuilt the buggar . This one is actually a re-shoot of the one your saw. Longer subs by 30s and with flats correctly orientated. Thanks for your help so far.

Lovely shot Trevor, a very pleasing and calming portrait of this wonderful cluster. Love the round stars and processing!
Cheers

Thanks Dennis.
When you get up close the stars arent as round as they should be. Collimation is out. Marc and I pulled it down after this and re-aligned everything, but still needs more tweaking. Waiting for my Catseye set to arrive next week.
