hi guys,

9 months have passed til I found time to go back to my local observatory here in
austria to do some imaging!
conditions could not have been better!
transparency was exceptional, seeing was improving over the time.

I used a test-scope from APM markus ludes: 107mm aperture/ 700mm focal length.
(the one I used last year for M27).

M25C has always served me very well in all my OSC imaging, and so she did a
terrific job last night again.
I did not apply darks nor flats, also no defect map.

subframes 20 minutes.
3 hours and 20 minutes total exp time.
acquired with astroart 4, preprocessing in astroart 4.
postprocessing ccd stack, pix insight and PS CS4.

nice to be back and I hope I will show up with new images here on a
more frequent basis... (-:

Quite a treat Dietmar! Superb pic with terrific colours. Very smooth. Loads of faint fuzzies around too. Top work indeed.

Hi Dietmar, that is a striking image. Nine months is a long time to be away from what you enjoy, hope you can get more images soon.

Thanks for the view.

Only this afternoon I was looking at these two in WorldWideTelescope wondering what they look like in better colour...and here they are!

The colours in 4631 are just superb, beats hell out of the SDSS data.
Thanks for sharing Dietmar, lovely image.
