So apparently proper nouns will be accepted as part of the new rules for Scrabble. Is this sacrillage? :)

Hi Adam, :)
Disrespectful to the game. I agree. A good point made is that authentication will be difficult at times. A phone book may help.

I predict some arguments firing up. 'Andrew', can become a seven letter word with an 's' and earn that magic 50 bonus points.;)

Its just a sales boosting gimmick.:(

Hi Eric, :)

Great! I just say my dog's name is "Wxctrzysdef" and win!

:lol: But you have to pronounce it...

"Wxctrzysdef" is pronounced "rover". "Sdgyzxiof" is "dog" etc etc

I don't see what the problem is. I have a computer version of scrabble ( don't know where it came from). It has a user dictionary. You should see some of the entries. All you need to do is invent a word to fit the available space and save it. It is then available always.

Even so I still can't beat the computer on the top level.

You must have been having a bad run to have that many tiles in front of you. How many points was it worth?

Hi All, :)

I challenge that! "Wxctrzysdef" , Is incorrectly spelt. It should be " Wwxctrzysdef " which is correct for Rover.
"Wxctrzysdef" is actually Ro er. And who ever heard of a dog called "Ro er":screwy:

You would lose a turn Eric.:lol:

Referenced from "Marty's Advanced Dictionary of Pronouniations" or How to cheat at Scrabble":D:D

ABOMINATION!!!!
(Thats worth heaps of points BTW, particularly if you can add an 's' for a TWS.)

No. Noooooo. Its just so.....WRONG!!! Pandering to unwashed, illiterate, slack-jawed, drool-monkies is against the very SOUL of Scrabble.
There are already enough entertainments for the Channel 7 crowd: Pokies, knife-fights, bouncy balls, drug addiction, GTA5 etc.

Lets at least keep a few pastimes for those who know that Vivaldi isn't an energy drink and Obama isn't a horse running in the 3:20 at Cranbourne.

I ounce lucked-out with "(quetzals)"
a t
n o
y r
y

With both th 'q' and the 's' hitting triple scores, and the 'z' on a double (I think) plus using all my letters, it was good for something like 300 points.:D

Hows this for a great Scrabble word: 'witereden' it means a fine or penalty.
