Except for dodging cloud last night seemed to be very good seeing, best I have seen for some time. Saturn was detailed and stable at 240x +.
The moons were pin point.NGC 5139 was like a bowl of diamonds.
NGC 4594 showed a glowing core with some detail in the surrounding dust lanes at 8'.7 x 3'.5 it is a large beautiful object at this time of year.
Anyone else enjoy the good seeing?

I saw alot of cirrus and mid-level cloudage during the afternoon so I stayed inside. Looked outside just before I went to bed at around midnight, could see the moon illuminating a scattered mid-level deck and possibly some cirrus.

Went out the night before (Sat) and seeing was garbage with a catogory 5 cyclone annoying me.

Hi all, the seeing in Melbourne was very good indeed. Saw detail in Saturn even with my little Megrez at 72x

My observing was from 21.30 to 23.30 until the clouds & moon took over.

I had a go, the good conditions we had at Snake Valley has spoilt it for me at home. I'll have to re-acclimatize. Saturn was nice and crisp but the gaps between the clouds were much to small. It was perfect (except for light pollution) when I decided to set up of course!

Viewing around midnight, a little to late.

Looked rock solid last night, the night before it was a'shakin all over.

Seeing was good in Sydney too on 4th April, with some intermittent patches of cloud moving through. For the first time in an age I could visually make out the Milky Way from inner western Concord.
I also located M105, M95 and M96 in Gemini in my 8" SCT - usually most DSO's are washed out in the skyglow. Saturn and satellites were also a fine sight.
