Just a few taken yesterday while at the show. Highlight is always the woodchop competition, tried to capture the hard yakka these guys exert.

Adam these are terrific !!
My favourite is the second one, great colour contrast between the red on the ferris wheel and the blue sky, love it !!

I really like the others too, especially the night shots.

Well done, you managed to do what I wanted to do this year but couldn't.
I was hoping to take the family to the show and get some photos too but I don't think we'll make it this year.

Thanks for sharing mate.

Great collection Adam that highlight a cross section of your skills. Really like the contrasts, the action shots are perfect and the time lapses have a pleasant hypnotic effect.

Cheers Jeff, I must have taken at least 100 shots in the woodchop arena and only a few were worth sharing. I'm so impressed with the strength and endurance of these blokes.

Thanks Liz, the sky that day was crystal clear, also helped with a polarizing filter :)

Cheers Andrew, I think you could easily spend a couple of days shooting interesting things at the show. Funnily I felt really self conscious taking the night shots as setting up the tripod people would give a strange look at what I was doing so unfortunately there was only a couple of good vantage points I could take these ones from.

Thanks David, plenty of colour. I limited my kids to only 2 bags each :)
