I captured these this afternoon. Its starting to cloud over now, so my timimg was good.
I tried imaging yesterday but couldn't get the SM40 to behave. It turned out to be crooked on the end of my scope:rolleyes:. Fixed today.

Good work Al - crooked scope hey!
Nice to see your images - looking at your disc shots I seemed to have missed a nice filament today - top of your pic!

Lovely work Al. I’m particularly drawn to the full solar disc images; they are spectacular – top stuff!

Thanks guys!
Could be... though today I used my IceInSpace beanie to shade the DMK:shrug:. Time will tell...;) The fact that they are vertical lines suggests to me it is CCD or camera related. I can't quite work out how seeing will result in perfectly straight vertical lines.
These ones were done in Registax 5 and finishing in PS CS3. I have Avistack, but to be honest I don't have a handle on it yet. Sometimes it works better for me and sometimes not, but I find it very slow:shrug:.
