Found this on another site, and have been having a read for awhile.
Lots of books there, and for those on a budget, its a great site.

If you want to find some really good astronomy books to read, try these two sites
www.fishpond.com.au (http://www.fishpond.com.au/)
and
Abbeys Bookshop (http://www.abbeys.com.au/categories.asp?id=2012&name=Astronomy,%20space%20&%20time)
The titles there should keep you all really busy :)
I just bought 4 books from Fishpond...."Meteorites, A Petrological, Chemical and Isotopic Synthesis", "The Galaxies of the Local Group", "Classification of Stellar Spectra" and "Mind in the Balance"....about $500 worth.
Hey Carl, have you had a look at this site? I have bought about 30 books this year.... including fiction, scifi, medical and astronomy. Quite cheap and delivered to your door - FREE delivery

Goodness, the books you bought would have me asleep in 2 seconds flat!! Astronomy for Dummies is my style - ah, which I bought from BookDepository.

Just gone to have a look at the site :)
Nah...they shouldn't put you to sleep!!!. I've got another book.."Planetary Systems" coming soon as well. That set me back $150.
Feeling a bit better than I did earlier in the week but I'm still not over it, yet. I'm sweating like anything today....looks like I took a shower in my clothes!!!.

The books at the site a pretty cheap compared to other places!!!. There's quite a few books there, Liz, you could sink your teeth into without going over your head...even some of the textbooks there I know about which would be alright :)
