Hi all

Another cloud dodging morning but well worth the views. AR 1059, 1057 and the impressive prominence.
Imaging conditions were average but I am learning how to image the proms slowly.
All taken through my Lunt H-Alpha scope with 2.5 Powermate and DMK31. Registax5 with blending in PSP.

Hope you enjoy.

Lovely images Matt – it looks like you and Tony are hogging the gaps between the clouds, or I’m looking in the wrong direction!

The texture of the solar surface and the delicate filaments of the prominences are stunning.

Cheers

Dennis

Agree with Dennis - please send some clear wx north of the equator!
Blending is spot on including some lovely spicules along the disc edge. Also great detail inside that fil, some of the best images Ive seen from a lunt so far
