Nope - spotted a few attempts, however.

I just spent the first hour this chasing down the LHC issue, Now I believe the penny dropped too.
It's been very quiet around here this morning.
To be quite honest I think we all forgot about April fools around here.

I, and many other listeners, as well as most of the Triple M Radio Grill Team (Mark Geyer, Stuart MacGill and Gus Worland) got sucked in by the SpoonMan on his rave segment this morning;
He basically went on a rant about how the new "safety cameras" which take speed and red light photos now have been switched over to Green to RED with NO orange light, so they can use the red light and speed camera combo to ping and fine more drivers.
It sounded like any other story and he really got stuck into the government, the RTA, The premier etc, and then they took some calls from IRATE drivers saying about how many accidents it would cause, how much it stunk of revenue raising etc, until one caller said it was a VERY big coincidence that the RTA happened to do this on April 1.
Oh MAN, I was in the process of dialling up Triple M myself to have a go on the air and complain long and hard.........
Got me goooooooood!
Cheers
Chris

oh no! I slept in and almost MISSED APRIL FOOLS!? my spleen hurts, but Im thinking its just an april fools joke. He has quite a sense of humour, which Im personally very proud of since I grew him myself.
Edit: I thought today was the 31st...and just now I have come to realise that there arent that many days in march. Wait scratch that...I just dont know how to sing that song properly O.O this is what humanity has come down it! University educated youth who dont know how many days there are in a month. I weep for the future of mankind, brought down in part by my own hands...

Well .... I've spent most of the day dealing with personnel and our leave booking system and it is definately a bad joke! The Enterprise Agreement says one thing, personnel another and the computer won't accept either. :mad2:

The LHC story was a little too obvious as a prank, but it is good to see that April Fool's day is not completely dead, despite the demise of AFD over the years due to Political Correctness.
Well my Wii fit got me this morning big time :rofl:
It said it cant read me on the scales today and said it no longer worked i was like arhhhhhhhhhhhh :help:
Then the cheeky little thing says APRIL FOOLS :lol::lol: i thought how cute is that ;) made me giggle all morning
After that he said he would not trick me when im measuring up today though :screwy::lol: So nice of him :)
Unfortunately I'd believe just about anything, Hubby uses me for target practice all the time, he doesn't need to wait for April 1st.:prey2:

One of the managers at work , minutes after already having a laugh at
April fools jokes going around opened his e mails to find his brand new company car had been issued with a recall notice with an advice not to drive because a possible fuel pump failure . ( the problem was fixed at its first service two weeks back)
A busy day and going on leave that day ( and driving to melborne )
hahah.. over the weekend.. had him running round like a blue arsed fly
trying to sort things out all morning.
Way to funny :) .. I had to avoid him as it was getting to hard to try not to laugh
as the day rolled on and he became more aggitated :)
