Here is the well imaged Eta Carina.
I haven't done it for a while.
It is one of the iconic southern objects.
TEC180FL, FLI PL16803, Baader LRGB Astrodon 5nm Ha.
HaLRGB 70 80 70 70 80.

Greg,
Great image. Why do you run the blue channel for more data than the R and G?

Greg,
That's very nice, though, the colour seems a bit weird to me (yes, I understand, hydrogen alpha).
Frank, you expose more in blue to combat atmospheric extinction.

Thanks Chris.
Its a misprint I did 70 minutes each of RGB. Sometimes when I save the file the numbers are not available so I did it from memory. But running a bit more blue may be a good idea as it often is slightly less sensitive and as mentioned it gets blocked most as the scope points lower and lower in the sky.
Yeah I had a bit of trouble blending in the Ha. I redid the LRGB mix and Ha blending and it looks better now. Sometimes I add Ha as a luminosity layer but in this case it only worsens the image and colour.
See above.

Thanks Marc.
The Ha image is also worth a loook:

The battle with processing Eta C is how to get that solid look in the Ha into the colour image without resulting in a solid red image.
