There! This will fix the rotten-ring syndrome! Would you believe this is straight outa registax without any wavelett work at all?

Conclusion: This toucamming is a piece of cake....all you need is excellent seeing & a driven scope...the rest is pure logic. Just don't use an achro refractor 'cos it will drive you mad!!

No Matt, no wind, only me going off my nut about green rings! I've got a 1.2 gig stack in process which I think will be rather interesting. (I hope)

Great shot, I tried last night but the seeing was SHOCKING!

i see what you mean about the green rings too.. I had a play in photoshop but this is the best I could do.

Thanks for trying Mike. I'm using a baader fringe killer filter, without it I get even greener rings. I'd be real interested if a IR/UV cut filter would solve this problem.

Ving, just waiting for decent weather...maybe one day we'll get some :-)

Last night I stayed up for a go at saturn, and found some really nasty seeing, probably jetstream related. I'm determined to keep trying, hopefully a good night will come along soon - it's prime time on saturn for the next month or so.
