My first official observation report for my new C9.25. With my old C8 I didn't really make any kind of reports, spent most of the night star hopping and oohing/aahing. I think I've worked out most of the initial bugs (with the user, not the scope) and I'm quite happy with it.
My report is a bit poor, sorry, but I'm hoping to improve my note taking over the next few sessions.

Wow Simon, what a list of targets. That's where scopes equipped with encoders / computer / Argo really shine. As far as notetaking, a simple cassette notetaker from Tricky Dicky will help to record what you are seeing at the eyepiece, without having to fiddle with torches, biros and books. Well done, look forward to more reports - the more the merrier - we all learn from others experiences at the eyepiece.
By the way, pardon a dumb question, where did the seeing / transparency graphic come from?? Cheers, Paul.

Heya Paul,
Thanks for the comments :D
The seeing graphic I nabbed from this place:

and just follow the prompts, for example, here is Lismore:

Good report mate.
Almost made me feel as though I was there ... ;)

Hehehe, thanks Les.
I'm nowhere near your level of note taking yet but hope to improve beyond what I do at the moment :D

'Tis indeed an impressive list. Sounds like a most enjoyable night. Ditto to Paul's comment about a recorder. Only way to go!
