Cold front.

Hi All,
Not 30 min ago a cold front passed us by. All we got was a wind change and great looking clouds. Funny the wind was East all day then this came through and wind went West. No rain, thunder nothing but wind change.
Thought I would share it with you. :)

Now that the moon is back till 11pm it looks like we might finally get a clear night :(

We have been hit by 50k winds all day!!!!

First from the North (very hot wind) and about 2 hours ago it has swung around and is coming from the West, still at 50k. My roof is banging, the whole house is shaking and the tree branches are going down everywhere around here!!!!

Not nice!

Adelaide currently has 8.6k southwesterly. Not too bad.

Yeah ... same here in Canberra. Very gusty out of the NW at the moment, around 30-40ks.


We had a shocking front go through around 4pm Friday. A falling tree actually killed some poor bloke.

Been very windy all weekend, although looking clear outside at the moment.

Makes sense to me! The sky is absolutely cloudless for once, of course something had to spoil it!!!!!

A bit different here than Adelaide usually Ken. It's calmed off a lot now towards sunset.......I may even get some imaging in (yeah right!)

It was BLAB all day in Adelaide. BLAB=blowing like a ..... if you know what I mean. At 1.30am this morning calm as, then the stratus started to roll in. Sheesh, the elements can be frustrating.
