Baader Hyperion 8-24mm Click-Stop Zoom eyepiece

I was wondering if anyone has been using this eyepiece and if so I would appreciate any feed back as I am contemplating purchasing one of these.

Yes, Andy, I have had one for a couple of years now. It is brilliant:D:D.
I thoroughly recommend one. I use it constantly all the time. My other eyepieces are redundant except for a Meade 26 mm wide angle for looking at Eta.
Throw your other eyepieces away and get the Hyperion:):thumbsup::thumbsup::thum bsup:

They performed well in a zoom shootout when they were first released a couple years ago, and are now, after some delay, the flavour of the month on the CN forum.

Most seem to like this eyepiece, but the wide eyecup and not particularly long eye relief may not suit those with deep eye sockets.
