Hi everyone.

Since finding the IIS site and acquiring my new scope, I have been doing heaps of observing (weather permitting) and have found a few new targets.

I have also just acquired a Philips SPC 900 NC webcam and I'm keen to get into some imaging (apparently this camera is OK for low light imaging).
Can anyone suggest a source for an adapter to fit this camera onto 1.25" hardware on a GSO 8 inch Dob.
Any other suggestions or guidance most welcome
Thanks !!!:astron:

Hi Peter

Great to hear you're enjoying your scope.

With an untracked dob, imaging is quite difficult, but it can be done. Use this guide to get you started:
Astrophotography with a Dob (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/63-201-0-0-1-0.html)

I'm not sure if there's an easy-fit adapter for a 900nc like with the older ToUcam Pro II, but you could try Mogg Adapters. Otherwise someone else might chime in with some help.

Cheers
