Central Coast regulars Eclipse trip ??

Excuse me if there's another thread for the eclipse in 2012, however I couldnt find it after the web-site changed a little.

I think we need to get our heads together and look at getting away for the 2012 Eclipse in November.

I have been looking at accommodation up in Cairns and it looks like we should get a plan together for a trip before too much time goes by so we dont miss out.

What do you folks think ?

Geoff: definitely interested at this stage geoff.

Is it to be a drive job or fly job do you think. be nice to think it could coincide with a new moon. I am happy to drive it with one or two passengers to share the driving and fuel costs. Take camping gear or whatever. Finer details could be sorted out later.

I may fly at this stage with my dear Wife.

The date coincides with our 25th Aniversary, so we will make it a special trip.
We will spend a week there I hope from the 10th -17th November.

I like the look of a Holiday Resort ( please PM me for details )
It has cabins, camping sites and more.


And Arthur.....maybe not enough Guiness for you....The Solar Eclipse will be on the New Moon....they always are....:lol:
