Hi all,
I found this green tree frog in our toilet last night! First time that's happened since I've lived in Brisbane. It was still there this morning, so we relocated it into the lotus pond in our garden - it will be interesting to see if it's back inside tonight...
Anyway, it should make a good Show & Tell topic for my daughter at school tomorrow! :)
Cheers,
Stephen

Lovely shots of a lovely creature – they always appear to be smiling! The only ones I’ve seen were in the toilets at Hazledene, the BAS/SEQAS dark sky site.

Thanks Dennis! They are great looking creatures, aren't they.
These images were taken using a Cybershot compact camera because we were in a bit of a rush. If the frog is still around tonight I might try some macro shots of its face.
Cheers,
Stephen

Sweet!
Maybe not so sweet and a less expected one is in the news today:-

Be a worry if they met in the same toilet!
OMG :eyepop: .... If I found that in my loo, my scream would be heard for miles!!! I picked up a chair on the veranda yday, and let out an embarassing blood curdling yell, when a bit of wire got tangled around my leg, thinking it was Mr Snake.
Ah, cute frog Stephen ... I have a few green frogs around my place, but the snakes love them

Good looking python Erick but not the best place to curl up.

Cool shots Stephen. Who would think?
There's a good joke for this one, just not sure yet... :D
We get a lot of tiny tree frogs in the warm months and loads of Anoles. Great insect control.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
I saw the frog leave the pond yesterday evening (by which time it was too dark for photos), but haven't seen it again since, so no more images.
Glad I didn't find that one Eric!!!
Cheers,
Stephen
