Hi Everyone,
I've just finished processing NGC3324 in Narrowband colours.
Taken with RC8, QHY9 and Astronomik filters.
SII:Ha:OIII 100:100:100mins with 20min subs
Looking back at the image, I think it could do with a bit more boost in colours..oh well repro for later..was a 7hr straight processing..need to sleep now, my eyes's all funny after such long time in front of the screen..:eyepop: can't tell what's what with colours anymore
(new version with minor colour adjustments)

Oh wow!
Your time and effort is really paying off here mate..
That is a real stunner, again, superb processing, nice strong data.. the guiding looks great..
The only thing that strikes me as weird is the center of some of the stars looking a bit weird.. This comes from blending the channels from what I know... I've suffered it a few times, and hope someone can chime in what exactly what causes it and how to stop it..
Other than that VERY minor gripe, your shot is absolutely top shelf...
Alex.

I agree that it is absolutely beautiful.
Seven hours of processing? Wow.

Another excellent composition. Tight guiding, excellent focus and well processed.
I might suggest adding some more saturation and overall brightness.
Otherwise, excellent!

Stunning work!
A pleasing image, well done.
Although I have to agree on Trevor's comment regarding the pink stars, however I'm not what you would call an expert on these things - just an observation from here :)

Great attention to the fundamentals: focus, exposure, guiding and composition.
Nicely done. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks everyone for your comments:)
I've learnt a lot while processing this one and can see where I need to improve on when doing repro's. I'll probably try adding synthetic luminance next and fix up the stars..
Cheers,
Dave

with NB stuff its best to make a lum out of a blend of all three channels, otherwise you will end up with one channel stronger than the rest.. Also - whilst some may disagree, narrow band images tend to look amazing with no stars... Just a thought.
