heres a truely great pic of a close up of a asteriod that should be in APOD in my opinion....
never seen anythinglike it! :)

Looks like it's a crumbed potato! Doesn't look as though there is much holding all that together does there?

Very interesting textural changes on it. It look like a lump of conglomerate. I wouldn't be surprised if that is exactly how it was composed. Excellent detail in the image.

there are aparently 2 asteriods known to have thier own moons... never thought about this before! :)
