View Full Version here: : con-artists galore!
I recieved an email today from a finance company offering me a high paying job... must have thought I was born yesterday. I seem to be getting alot of these lately. wierd huh... :confuse3:
anyone else getting plenty of these lately or just this poor sucker?
anyhow this one is obviously a scam
Yo Vinga!
Mate. Is very much a scam. There's a bunch of em doing the rounds.
I work as a radio journo here in Canberra and we hear about these sorts of things all the time. Sometimes I get to do a story on em. Feels good letting people know about these dodgy *******s!
Never ... and I mean NEVER ... respond to one of these emails.
And on no account offer up your bank account details.
No bank or reputable employment agency would solicit bank account details like that out of the blue. Ever.
And remember the greatest truism of all: if an offer seems too good to be true... it is!!!!!!!!!!:mad2:
i usually dont even open these emails. i just wanted a read :)
I figured it was a scam before i even opened it...
really peeps, if you dont know the sender treat it as suspicious!

Reminds me of the the old joke of the unscrupulous man making a deal with the devil. So let me get this right, all you want is the souls of my children and grandchildren and all of the family alive today. And in return you make me rich and famous and handsome. So what is the catch!
Sorry

Im currently working in helpdesk at CQU, and there has been a lot of spam going out that looks like it is a CQU sender but infact its an outsider trying to phise for information/credit card details... and even a lot more that have Zip files and viruses attached in them!

Couldn't apply as I didn't fall in the age profile. I have lodged a complaint with the Equal Opportunity Commission :)
These things are a real pain in the *** that we all suffer from. Maybe we should change the name from spam to piles ;)

Mmmm, "NO school degree required". Sounds like the bloke that wrote it with a spelling mistake every second word.
