Great filament / prominence - I am soooooooo jealous of all you good folk at the moment - I have learned how to merge images of the disc and limb via Paint Shop and since then it has been cloudy and wet!

How about http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ or http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html (http://www.cs.ubc.ca/%7Embrown/autostitch/autostitch.html) ? One free, the other with not particularly onerous restrictions.

http://www.autopano.net/ if you don't mind spending some Euros.
